Precious Fruits

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.” [James 5:7 KJV]

God is exceedingly patient. Not just that; He’s also extremely good. He does not wish anyone (those James called ‘precious fruits’) to miss their opportunity to get to share the Kingdom with His Son, Jesus Christ. It is therefore important that we those who are saved be patient too, and wait for those who are yet to step onto the narrow road to glory. For a few more years of waiting that would result in a yet greater harvest I’m willing to wait. Just think of this: if Jesus had come a day before you were saved you would have certainly missed the train to glory too. For this reason I’m glad he tarries. Blessed be the Lord.
